Media blasting supplies must need to be handled with special care and must be used after availing proper training. Some of precautionary measures are mentioned below. One should follow these measures, before using any media blasting supplies.
1. It is possible that blasting sand used with mobile sandblasting, come out of the equipment. This can become reason for causing many heart and lung related diseases. That is the reason, one should wear mask over his or her face before using it. One must also cover her hands with gloves, so to ensure against any burns.
2. Secondly, before starting the pressure washer of mobile sandblasting, one should open water supply in the equipment. After filling water, now, one can activate the spray.
3. Thirdly, one must test the distance over the small area of the material. After, confirming that it is not damaging the surface of the material, now place all material under the spraying nozzle.
4. While using the mobile sandblasting, one must keep the face of nozzle, downward. This will ensure that spray does not harm him or her, accidently.
5. Always ensure that the sand hose is dry and then use the mobile sandblasting.
6. Blasting industry is growing at very rapid speed. That is why; every month new machines and abrasives are introduced in the market. So, one must be familiar with the use of new devices.
